The group consisted of lead vocalist Aaron Hall, and brothers Teddy Riley and Damion Hall. Teddy Riley, a prominent producer, played a key role in shaping the New Jack Swing sound. Guy’s self-titled debut album (1988) included hits like “Groove Me” and “Teddy’s Jam.” They continued to release successful albums, contributing to the popularity of New Jack Swing in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
