Pam Grier

Pam Grier is an actress that was most popular in the 1970’s for her roles in films like “The Big Bird Cage”, “Coffy”, “Foxy Brown”, and “Sheba, Baby”. She also played Jackie Brown in the Quentin Tarantino film “Jackie Brown” which she was nominated a Golden Globe for. Grier started off appearing in stage productions when she was younger and participating in beauty contests to help her raise money for college. She then moved to Los Angeles where she was cast in films like “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls”, and “The Big Doll House”. Other films that she has been cast in include, “Fort Apache the Bronx”, “Something Wicked This Way Comes”, “Above the Law”, “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey”, “Posse”, “Escape from L.A.”, “Mars Attacks!”, “In Too Deep”, “Snow Day”, “Ghosts of Mars”, “Just Wright”, “Larry Crowne”, and “The Man with the Iron Fists”. Grier has also been featured in several television series some of which include, “The Love Boat”, “Crime Story”, “Miami Vice”, “The Sinbad Show”, “Linc’s”, “Justice League”, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, “The L Word”, “Smallville”, and most recently, “This Is Us”.
