Jimmie Walker is an American actor and comedian best known for playing James Evans Jr. also known as, J.J., in the television series Good Times which he was nominated for a Golden Globe for. His character on Good Times is best known for his catchphrase, Dy-no-mite!, which he also used in various commercials in the 70s. Fast forward to current time and Walker is touring the country performing stand-up routines. Prior to his breakthrough in Good Times, Walker worked on a radio station before being discovered through appearances on series such as, Jack Paar Show and Rowan & Martins Laugh In. Other series hes appeared in include, The Love Boat, Bustin Loose, At Ease, Scrubs, Everybody Hates Chris, and Funny or Die Presents_. He has also released an autobiography, Dyn-O-Mite: Good Times, Bad Times, Our Times: A Memoir.
