    First Choice

First Choice is a dynamic three-piece disco girl group from Philadelphia in the 1970s. Led by vocalist Rochelle Fleming, they gained fame with hits like “Armed and Extremely Dangerous,” “The Player,” and “Love Thang.” Initially known as the Debronettes, they collaborated with producer Norman Harris and enjoyed success both in the U.S. and the UK. Their iconic track “Let No Man Put Asunder” became a classic in the Chicago house music scene after remixes by Shep Pettibone and Frankie Knuckles. Despite disbanding in 1984, First Choice re-formed in 1987 and continued to see success through remixes and reissues of their timeless disco hits. Rochelle Fleming remains a respected figure in the disco genre, contributing vocals to occasional house music releases.
