Lyfe Jennings, born Chester Jermaine Jennings on June 3, 1978, is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist known for his powerful vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and soulful music.Lyfe Jennings had a tumultuous upbringing in Toledo, Ohio. He spent ten years in prison for arson but used his time behind bars to focus on music and self-improvement.
