Chingy, born Howard Bailey Jr. on March 9, 1980, is an American rapper known for his contributions to the hip-hop scene in the early 2000s. Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Chingy rose to fame with his debut album “Jackpot” (2003), featuring the chart-topping hit “Right Thurr.” Chingy’s energetic and catchy style, coupled with his distinctive delivery, contributed to his rapid success in the hip-hop and mainstream music scene. He continued to release several albums, including “Powerballin'” (2004) and “Hoodstar” (2006).
