H-Town was an American R&B vocal group formed in Houston, Texas, in the early 1990s. The trio consisted of members Darryl “Shazam” Jackson, Solomon “Shazam” Conner, and Keven “Dino” Conner. They rose to fame with their debut album “Fever for da Flavor” in 1993, which included the hit singles “Knockin’ Da Boots” and “Baby I Wanna.” H-Town’s smooth vocals and sensual R&B style contributed to their success. Tragically, the group faced a setback with the death of lead vocalist Dino in a car accident in 2003. Despite the loss, H-Town’s impact on the R&B scene endures through their influential contributions to 1990s contemporary R&B and soul.
